Capacitação: Presos aprendem uma nova profissão.

 

Peças confeccionadas na marcenaria da unidade prisional servem como móveis e itens de decoração.
Há seis meses, reeducandos do Centro de Detenção Provisória (CDP) “ASP Willians Nogueira Benjamin” de Pinheiros II, na capital paulista, estão realizando atividades laborterápicas por meio da oficina de marcenaria.

O estabelecimento penal é subordinado à Coordenadoria de Unidades Prisionais da Região Metropolitana de São Paulo (Coremetro), sob gestão da Secretaria da Administração Penitenciária (SAP).

O projeto, desenvolvido pela diretoria do CDP, tem como objetivo ensinar e desenvolver técnicas de manejo, cortes diferenciados, aplicação de desenhos e escritas em madeira.

A ideia é que, além de servir como uma ocupação para os internos, a oficina ofereça novas oportunidades de trabalho para eles quando estiverem em liberdade.

Dentre as peças criadas estão armários, cachepôs, suportes para jardim vertical e para vasos, além de placas decorativas com mensagens de esperança.

A oficina ainda promove a sustentabilidade utilizando restos de madeira para confecção dos objetos.

Para o diretor substituto da unidade prisional, Ernani Izzo, o novo aprendizado contribuirá para o futuro dos envolvidos, que terão uma habilidade extra no currículo e mais oportunidades no mercado de trabalho depois do cumprimento da pena.
