Espaços educacionais de presídios paulistas passam por melhorias

Verba do Programa Dinheiro Direto na Escola (PDDE-SP) foi disponibilizada pelas escolas vinculadoras.

Desde 2020, estabelecimentos penais da Coordenadoria de Unidades Prisionais da Região Metropolitana de São Paulo (Coremetro), da Secretaria da Administração Penitenciária (SAP), trabalham com a oferta de estudo pelo Programa Educação nas Prisões (PEP) e contam com apoio financeiro para o investimento em infraestrutura e em material pedagógico a partir do Programa Dinheiro Direto na Escola (PDDE-SP).

O programa instituído em 2019, disponibiliza às escolas estaduais recursos financeiros de forma facilitada e menos burocrática. Os repasses são feitos diretamente às Associações de Pais e Mestres (APM) das unidades escolares para que realizem pequenas reformas, manutenções emergenciais e adquiram equipamentos de forma mais ágil, contribuindo para a melhoria do ambiente escolar e do ensino.

Entre os estabelecimentos penais da Capital e da Grande São Paulo, 16 deles fizeram uso do benefício que, em comum acordo com as escolas vinculadoras, decidiram o destino de aplicação da verba.
Melhorias

Para as unidades prisionais de Franco da Rocha foram adquiridos notebooks, projetores, impressoras, além de itens pedagógicos e de papelaria que possibilitarão o desenvolvimento de diferentes atividades voltadas à Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA).

Para a Diretora de Centro de Trabalho e Educação da Penitenciária III “José Aparecido Ribeiro” de Franco da Rocha, Michelle Yukie de Souza, “o recebimento dessa verba dá motivação e energia a mais para a implantação de projetos que até então sempre estiveram no papel. O objetivo é fazer com que os alunos se interessem e valorizem ainda mais a educação”.

Responsabilidade

As penitenciárias e o Centro de Detenção Provisória (CDP) II de Guarulhos visaram, entre outras necessidades, a aquisição de itens de tecnologia e monitoramento das alas escolares. Com isso, as salas de aula agora contam com câmeras de vigilância e garantem mais segurança a educadores, agentes e alunos no ambiente escolar.
Para tornar as aulas ainda mais dinâmicas, kits com projetores, telas e caixas de som foram instalados, levando melhorias ao espaço educacional e, por consequência, ao aprendizado dos alunos.
Na Penitenciária I “José Parada Neto” de Guarulhos, o dinheiro também foi aproveitado para realizar reformas estruturais no local – nas instalações elétricas e hidráulicas – gerando ganho no bem-estar de todos que usufruem do ambiente.

Planos futuros

Parte do investimento aplicado pelos gestores da Penitenciária “ASP Joaquim Fonseca Lopes” de Parelheiros e pela escola vinculadora já vislumbram o momento pós pandemia de Covid-19, com o retorno das aulas presenciais. A aquisição de violão, caixas de som, microfone e tripé é voltada para projetos musicais a serem desenvolvidos pelos reeducandos, com foco no ganho educacional.
